Fees and funding
Universities in the UK generally has two levels of fees – international and home. International fees are often higher than home fees and applies to almost all students from outside the UK. Average international fees depend on individual university and course you are taking and could range from £10500.00 to £22000.00 per year. Deserving candidates are offered bursaries and scholarships by different universities and in addition there are a number of organisations which provide financial support to qualifying students (for example the Commonwealth Scholarships). A tuition fee loan and a student allowance, which can aid with living expenses, are examples of student loans. The full cost of your study is covered by tuition fee loans, which are paid directly to the course provider. You won’t be required to repay the loan until after you’ve completed the course and are earned above-average income.
